Increase to Court Costs & Filing Fees - Effective January 1, 2026
Please be advised that certain court costs and fees will increase effective January 1, 2026. These changes affect all courts across Tennessee. Any filings submitted on or after January 1, 2026, will be subject to this increase. Fee schedules for each court can be found at: https://www.shelbycountytn.gov/DocumentCenter/View/44285/pc0486

Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Courtroom Relocations Effective May 4,  2026 
Beginning May 4, and as part of ongoing renovations to courtroom spaces in the Shelby County General Sessions Court, several General Sessions Criminal Court divisions and judicial chambers will operate from new locations. 

Relocations include: 

• Judge Taylor Bachelor – Division 7 

  • Courtroom and Chambers now located in 201 Poplar, LL-107 

• Judge Lee Wilson – Division 8 

  • 201 Poplar, LL-111: Arraignments, Bail Hearings, Attorney Settings, and Drug Court

  • 201 Poplar, 7th Floor: Preliminary Hearings, Reports, and Forfeitures 

• Judge Karen Massey – Division 11 

  • Courtroom and Chambers: 201 Poplar, LL-113

• Judge Ronald S. Lucchesi – Division 12 

  • Courtroom and Chambers: 201 Poplar, 4th Floor  

• Judge Christian R. Johnson – Division 15 

  • Chambers: 201 Poplar, LL‑63
