Summer Law Internship Program

The Summer Law Intern Program provides high school students the opportunity to experience the daily legal workplace of law firms, corporate legal divisions, and governmental agencies. Interns are required to work a total of 60 hours during the summer program.

Since 2007, the Summer Law Intern Program has sought to develop and nurture an interest in the legal profession among young people who may be first-generation college students and/or law students and others who have limited exposure to the practice of law. Students who are accepted into the program are placed in law firms, corporate legal departments, or governmental agencies. Upon successful completion of the internship, they will receive a $500 stipend.

If you are a law firm or organization that would like to host an intern, please e-mail maupchurch@memphisbar.org

The Summer Law Intern Program would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters.
