Summary

For almost 170 years, Elmwood Cemetery served as the final resting place for African Americans who lived, loved, worked, and contributed to the history of Memphis and the United States. Saints, politicians, physicians, musicians, attorneys, and more will be featured! We seek to illuminate the stories of just some of their lives during this presentation being given by Elmwood Cemetery's Executive Director, Kim Bearden.
