With six new active judges on the Court since May 2017, the landscape of the Sixth Circuit is changing. Using a few recent cases as a case-study, including Taylor v. Saginaw, No. 17-2126 (6th Cir. 2019), Fowler v. Benson, No. 17-2504 (6th Cir. 2019), United States v. Christian, No. 17-1799 (6th Cir. 2019) (en banc), and the denial of en banc review in the Flint, Michigan Water Case (Guertin v.
