Summary

This session will provide an overview of the types of restrictive covenants used with employees, the impact of covenants that incoming employees have with prior employers, best practices for obtaining effective and enforceable covenants with new employees, tips for preemptive methods to avoid potential breaches, enforcement of those covenants with departing employees when preemptive methods are not enough, and the types of remedies/damages available when an employee breaches the agreement.
