This webinar will consist of a panel discussion exploring what Dr. Seuss books teach readers about implicit bias and racist depictions in literature. Panelists will also analyze freedom of speech concerns under the First Amendment and “cancel culture” accusations surrounding Dr. Seuss Enterprises ceasing publication of some of the author’s books and the National Education Association removing some of these books from its recommended reading list. The panel will also discuss Dr. Seuss themes to highlight key take-aways for lawyers.
Hosted on Zoom.
