Make sure you are taking advantage of this service by going to your profile and clicking the areas of practice in which you would like your name to appear. To access your profile, simply login to the MBA website from the homepage. Then click on "view/edit profile". If you have difficulty accessing your profile, contact the MBA office (527.3573; firstname.lastname@example.org). There is no charge for this service; however only MBA members’ information will be listed. To see what the public sees when visiting our site, go to legalhelp.memphisbar.org .
Join an MBA section to increase your referral network.
MBA sections are made up of attorneys in similar practice settings who come together to share insight and experience. The knowledge gained through this type of working relationship is invaluable to an attorney’s career.
Each section has its own governing officers, and meets on its own, calling on the MBA staff for budget and administrative needs and CLE seminar operations. When you join a section, you will be added to the section’s mailing list and receive regular updates on meetings, events, and CLE seminars pertaining to that practice area.
To join a section, simply log in to the MBA website and select the section(s) you would like to be a part of in your profile and click save or contact MBA Membership Coordinator Charlotte Gean at (901) 527-3573 or email@example.com .
Sign up for the Speaker’s Bureau, which links local non-profit agencies with lawyers willing to speak to their clients. Contact Communications Director Dottie McCallen (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
